In the Town of Waterville Valley
Saturday, June 26, 2010 8 am – 4 pm
At The Margret & H.A. Rey Center, Town Square.
Presented by the NH Fish and Game Department, Pemigewasset Chapter of Trout Unlimited &, the Margret & H.A. Rey Center.
The Learn to Fly Fish Class will cover Basic Fly-Fishing techniques. It will include: what makes fly-fishing unique, rod reel and line assembly, basic equipment, casting instructions, knots, fish habitat, fish forage, fish identification, fishing ethics and will answer any question you have about fly-fishing.
Instructors are certified by the NH Fish and Game Department. These volunteers bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to help the beginning angler get started.
Rods will be provided but bring your own or borrowed equipment if you have it (Recommended 5/6 weight fly rod & reel, 5/6 weight floating line). The class will be limited to the first 15 registrant. Must be 13 or over, minors must be accompanied by parents. A fee of $10 ($5 for Rey Center members) will be charged to cover facility cost. Hats & glasses are recommended for the casting session.
