History of the chapterThe Pemigewasset Chapter of TU was spun off from the Ammonoosuc Chapter of Littleton, NH. Many members who lived south of Franconia Notch wanted an alternative to driving north thru the notch in the winter. Thus with the Ammonoosuc Chapter's support a "sister chapter" was born. The charter meeting for the Pemi chapter was held January 17th 2002. We were chartered by TU National on February 2nd 2002.
