Trout in the Classroom We presently have 11 schools participating in either "Trout-in-the Classroom" or the "Adopt-a-Salmon Aquarium" programs. These program gives grade school students first hand experience at raising fish from eggs to fingerlings. Along the way they learn about stream habitats, water resources, and how ecosystems are inter-related. They also develop a conservation ethic.
